    Monday again.
How did an entire week go by?

My dogs are all howling in the living room as I type this. If I yell at them they ignore me, but if I go in there they all look embarrassed, as if I've caught them masturbating or something.

The big news is, Hoover was adopted. We had him almost a year. We miss him, but we have a new psycho dog in the house so his place has been taken well and in a way he would appreciate.

I got 4 new pairs of pants last week after we found out Craig wasn't getting laid off. Awesome to have something to wear besides jeans and my yoga pants. Thank goodness for TJ Maxx, and the SteinMart at North Dekalb Mall is closing, so they were having a BIG sale.

Today -- more job hunting, figuring out how to incorporate my company that hasn't done anything yet, and writing.

Well, it's technically LESS than a year...
since my last journal entry. Thanks to Karen for the tech support last night.

Craig left for Denver today. I slothfully stayed in bed until almost 11, the dogs my willing compatriots. There is nothing as cozy as a bed with 4 sleeping dogs. I then fed and walked them, and they are now enjoying their "videos" (chewy sticks), except Jack, who is whining at the gate to the computer room.

What to do today: search for a job, write a chapter of the novel for writing group tonight, continue rabid decluttering. Laundry.

Maybe shop for pants. I realized I have only 2 pairs I really like. No wonder I can't find anything to wear. I need someone to take me out, dress me, and then come home and throw away all my existing clothes. I stand by my "No dry cleaning" rule, however, except in the most fancy of circumstances. Perhaps I will hit TJ Maxx and the DSW this afternoon if I get out of my pajamas. Probably not, though, I have all week.

    Current Mood: mellow

Well, I've never been able to keep a journal before, except a Gratitude Journal, in which I write every night three things I'm thankful for about that day. Sometimes they are big things, other times small things like good Thai coconut soup.
This seems like it might be more motivating, although my descendants will never find it bound in leather at the bottom of a trunk in the attic. Something else for me to distract myself with at the computer.
